Hi Craig, actually I work on my Ph.D dissertation and it is devoted to navigation problems, so this robot would be used as a research platform. Later on it can be used as inspection robot for not accessible areas and manipulator will be installed on it, 5DOF. What is your area of interest, may be it close to my too.

What is the aim for your mobile robot when you have finished the hardware and have some control? Mobile robot navigation is a vast and very interesting subject, not my area though. Any idea of what you want to research?
